Wild Shoots No More!

It started with the desire to be obedient to God's call upon our lives without knowing what it would be as we prayed together at the prayer bench in February 2003.

It became clearer through a NPR radio program that jarred our souls with an incredible story of an orphan ministry in the last place we ever wanted to go.  "Adopt the children I have chosen for you in China."  The call grew as our hearts broke for all children in the world needing a family.

We've faltered.  We've started and stopped.  Through it all God always has been and will be our Father.  We are no longer orphans and He has called us to this time, this moment, to serve His children.

We surrender and give Him everything we can be, we can do, we can teach and we can give that will share His desire to adopt all children of all ages, from every place on this earth, into His family.

In the past few months God has stilled our hearts, focused our minds and given us roots and a new name.  We share today the understanding that through the Spirit of Adoption we are no longer wild shoots...we have been grafted into Jesus' New Family Tree.
